Özet

Akut otitis media özellikle 3 ay – 3 yaş arası çocuklarda oldukça sık olarak görülen bir enfeksiyon hastalığıdır. Akut otitis media yönetiminde öncelik ağrıyı gidermektir. Ciddi hastalık varlığında ise hastanın yaşına ve risk faktörlerine göre antibiyoterapi verilir. Bu çalışma ile akut otitis media tanı ve tadavisine genel yaklaşımlarda bulunulmuştur.

Abstract

Acute otitis media is one of the most frequent causes of infectious diseases especially between 3 months and 3 years in children. Most treatment recommendations for acute otitis media favour active use of pain relief medication. New practice guidelines call for the judicious use of antibiotics in uncomplicate acute otitis media. New approach in the treatment and diagnosis of acute otitis media was discussed in this paper.
