Özet
Tükürük bezlerinden gelişen pleomorfik adenomlar benign tümöral olgulardır. En sık parotis bezinden köken alırlar. Ancak, baş boyun bölgesinde değişik lokalizasyonlarda gözlenebilirler. Bu yazıda boyunda kitle şikâyeti ile başvuran submandibuler beze komşu ancak bezden belirgin ayrım gösteren pleomorfik adenomlu bir olgu sunulmuştur.
Abstract
Pleomorphic adenoma is a benign tumor arising from the salivary glands. Pleomorphic adenomas mostly originate from the parotid gland. However, they can be observed in various localizations in the head and neck region. We report here a case, who presented with neck mass, with pleomorphic adenoma that is in the neighborhood of the submandibular gland but obviously distinct from the gland.
