Özet

Bireylerin vergi ile ilgili sorumluluklarını yerine getirmesinde, vergiye karşı olan tutum ve davranışlarının önemli biryeri vardır. Bu çalışma Kırklareli ilinde yaşayan bireylerin vergi algısını, vergi bilincini, vergiye karşı tutumlarını belirlemeyi vevergi bilincini arttırmak için hangi adımların atılması gerektiğini açıklamaya çalışmaktadır. 396 kişinin katılımıylagerçekleştirilen anket sonucunda; kadın ve erkekler için vergi algısı, vergi bilinci, vergiye karşı tutum ve vergi bilinci arttırmaseviyeleri arasında bir fark bulunmadığı; evli bireylerin vergi algısının, bekâr bireylerin vergi algısından daha yüksek olduğu(Mann-Whitney U test değeri: 16800,500; p: 0,019); devlet kurumlarında çalışan bireylerin vergi bilincinin, özel kurumlardaçalışan bireylerin vergi bilincinden daha yüksek olduğu (Mann-Whitney U test değeri: 13650,000; p: 0,030); eğitim durumununvergi algısı, vergi bilinci, vergiye karşı tutum ve vergi bilinci arttırma değişkenleri üzerinde fark yaratmadığı ve farklı vergidiliminde olan katılımcıların vergi bilinci arttırma değişkenine yükledikleri anlamın farklı olduğu (Kruskal Wallis test değeri:11,032; p: 0,004) sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

The individuals attitude and behaviors towards tax have an important place while they fulfill their responsibilitiesrelated with tax. This research has tried to determine the tax perception, tax consciousness, and tax attitude of the individualsliving in Kirklareli city and to explain which steps may set forth to improve the tax consciousness. As a result of this researchmade with 396 participants; it is determined that there has not been a difference in the tax perception, tax consciousness, taxattitude and the levels to improve the tax consciousness for male and female; the tax perception of married individuals is higherthan the tax perception of single ones (Mann-Whitney U test value: 16800,500; p: 0,019); the tax consciousness of the individualsworking in public sectors is higher than the tax consciousness of the individuals working in private sectors (Mann-Whitney U testvalue: 13650,000; p: 0,030); the education status has not made any difference on the tax perception, tax consciousness, attitudetowards tax and the variables of improving tax consciousness, and also, the meaning of the variable for improving taxconsciousness is different for the participants in different tax brackets (Kruskal Wallis test value: 11,032; p: 0,004).
