Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmada 2009-2018 yılları arasında Türkiye’de meydana gelen intiharların tanımlanması ve on yıllık süreç içindeki eğilimin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı türde bir epidemiyolojik çalışmadır. Araştırmada veri kaynağı olarak Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu’nun yayımladığı intihar ve Türkiye geneli nüfus konulu istatistiklerden 2009-2018 yılları arasına ait olanlar kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada ilgili yıla ait nüfus, intihar sayısı, ülke genelinde ve illere göre kaba intihar hızı, intihar yöntemi, intihar nedeni, yaş grupları, cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, yasal medeni durum, mevsim ve yıl değişkenleri kullanılmıştır. Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study is to define suicides that occurred in Turkey between 2009 and 2018 and to examine the trend in the ten-year period. Materials and Methods: The research is a descriptive epidemiological study. Suicide and population statistics that is published between the years 2009-2018 by Turkey Statistical Institute is used as a data source in the study. In the research, the population of the relevant year, number of suicides, crude suicide rate of the country and provinces, suicide method, suicide reason, age groups, gender, education level, legal marital status, season and year variables are used.
