‘Kur'ân’da Câhiliye kavramı

Özet

Bu makale, Kur’an-ı Kerîm’de semantik bir kavram çalışması örneği olup; farklı bir yaklaşımla “Câhiliye” kavram tahlilini ortaya koymaktadır. Öncelikle, dil hakkında özet bir bilgi verilip dilin en küçük birimi olan bu kelimenin ilk kullanımından itibaren hangi evrelerden geçtiği, günümüze kadar nasıl geldiği ve hangi anlamları yüklendiği, sonuç olarak Kur’ân’da hangi anlamda kullanıldığı izah edilmiştir. Buradan yola çıkarak, Cehl- Câhiliye kavramının tabiî, lügat, terim, mahallî ve günümüzde deyim ve ata sözlerde kullanılan anlamları örneklerle ele alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak belirtecek olursak; Kur’ân’da bu kavramın hangi anlamda kullanıldığının tespiti, bu çalışmamın asıl hedefidir.

Abstract

This article, being an example of examining a concept in the Qoran semantically, puts forward the analysis of the concept of “Cahiliye/ignorance” from a different point of view. Firstly a summarized knowledge about the language being presented, which phases the concept of ignorance went through from its first usage up to now, how it came up to now, what meanings have been given to it, and as a result which meanings were given to it in the Qoran are explained. Moving from this on, the natural, dictinoraly, literal and local meanings of the concept of ‘Cehl-cahiliye’ and its meanings in the idioms and proverbs from the point of usage are handled with examples. Consequently, the specification of what meaning it is used at in the Qoran is the main goal of this treatise.
