Özet
Giriş: Gebelikte şiddet dünyanın birçok bölümünde yaygındır. Gebelikte şiddet hem anne hem de fetüs sağlığını olumsuz yönde etkileyen önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunudur. Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Sivas ilinde dört sağlık ocağı bölgesinde gebelikte eşi tarafından kadına uygulanan fiziksel, duygusal, cinsel ve ekonomik şiddet ve bununla ilişkili faktörleri belirlemektir. Yöntem: Bu çalışma tanımlayıcı tipte yapıldı. Çalışmanın verileri araştırmacı tarafından ilgili literatürden yararlanarak geliştirilen soru formu aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmada fiziksel, duygusal, cinsel ve ekonomik şiddet sırasıyla %18.1, %53.6, %32.5 ve %29.3 bulunmuştur. Genel olarak gebenin ve eşinin öğrenim durumu, eşin çalışma durumu, sağlık güvencesinin olup olmaması, ekonomik durumu, isteyerek gebe kalma ve doğum öncesi düzenli bakım alma ile gebenin fiziksel, duygusal, cinsel ve ekonomik şiddete uğraması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur (p
Abstract
Background: Violence during pregnancy is prevalent in most parts of the world. Violence during pregnancy poses a significant health risk to the mother and developing fetus. Objectives: This study was performed to determine the physical, emotional, sexual and economic violence and the associated factors during pregnancy in the four health care center regions in Sivas province in Turkey. Methods: This study was conducted as descriptive study. The violence during pregnancy survey form designed by the researcher was used for data collection according to international guidelines of intimate partner violence during pregnancy. Results: In this study the physical, emotional, sexual and economic violence during pregnancy were 18.1%, 53.6%, 32.5% and 29.3%. Overall, education of partners and women’s, employment of partner, health insurance, economic status, unintended pregnancy, and getting regular antenatal care were found significantly related to physical, emotional, economic, and sexual violence during pregnancy (p
