Theachers and Students Views Over the Primary School's 6th and 7th Grades Level of Achieving of the General Targets of Geography Subjects in Social Knowledge Courses

Özet

Bu araştırmada 6. ve 7. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler programındaki Coğrafya konularının genel amaçlarının gerçekleşme düzeyi, öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşlerine göre ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. 114 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni, "1450" altıncı ve "1455" yedinci sınıf öğrencisi bu araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Genel amaçların gerçekleşme düzeylerinde yüksek yüzdeye sahip olan öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşleri ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Genel amaçların gerçekleşme düzeylerinin öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşlerine göre farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

In the framework of this study, primary schools 6th and 7th grades level of achieving of the general purposes of geography subjects were evaluated according to teachers' and students' views. 114 Social Knowledge teachers, 1450 of 6th grade and 1455 of 7th grade students constituted the sampling of the study. Research data were obtained through questionnaire questions. In achieving of the general targets, teachers and students with high percent and their views were revealed. It has been determined that achieving level of general aims has varied in comparison with teachers' and students' views.
