ELMALILI M. HAMDİ YAZIR'IN İLMÎ TEFSİR ANLAYIŞI

Özet

Elmalılı, tefsirinde felsefî meselelere ve ilmi tefsirörneklerine çokça yer vermiştir. Aklî bir zaruretolmadıkça ayetleri önce zahiri manada anlamayaçaba göstermiştir. Tefsirine ilmî ve felsefî açıdanbaşka tefsirlerde bulunmayacak bir hususiyetkazandırmıştır. Elmalılı merhuma göre AllahTeâlânın iki türlü ayeti vardır. Birisi varlık kitabıdiğeri de indirilmiş kitaptaki sözlü ayetlerdir. Onagöre zat ve sıfata, ilahi ahkâm ve iradelere delaletettiklerinden dolayı, bunların ikisi de ayet olarakisimlendirilmiştir. Bu iki kitap ve bu iki tür ayet,karşılıklı olarak bir diğerinin şerh ve tefsiridirler.Merhum bazı ayetleri tefsir ederken Kuranın kâinatadair aydınlatmalarının çağımızın astronomi fikrininçok yükseğinde olduğunu vurgulamıştır. Kuranıniçerdiği ilmi tefsirin ümmi bir peygamberin bilmesimümkün olmayan bir mucizesi olduğunu iddiaetmiştir. Kuranın gelecekte meydana gelen, onunnüzulünden sonra açığa çıkan nice önemli ilmîmucizeleri içinde taşıdığı anlayışını benimsemiştir.Allahın kelâmını, yarattığı varlıklara bakarak, dış veiç dünyadaki ayetlerini tefekkür ederek ve inceleyerekanlamaya çalışmanın, Kuranın nazar ve tefekküremirlerinin bir gereği olduğunu kabul etmiştir

Abstract

At his commentary,Elmalili used thephilosophical issues andthe scientific commentarysamples much. Unlessthere was a rationalnecessity, he firstlyefforted to understandthe verses as an apparentmeaning. He madeavailable the scientificand philosophicalcharacteristics for hiscommentary which willnot be available in othercommentaries. Accordingto Elmalili, there are twokinds of verses of Allah:The first one is the bookof existence and the otherone is the the verbalverses in the revealedbook. To him, since theyboth signify person andattributes, the divinejudgment and will, theyare called verses. Thesetwo books and thesetwo types of verses aremutually commentary andexegesis for each other.He emphasized that theclarifications of Qur anabout universe were veryhigher than findings ofastronomy of our era. Heclaimed that the scientificexegesis which Qurancontained was a miraclethat is impossible to beknown by an unletteredprophet. He adopted theunderstanding that Quranincludes many importantscientific miracles whichoccurred in the futureand exposed after therevelation period.
