Baykara Meclisinden Yansımalar: -Edebî Meclisler 1-

Özet

Türk kültür ve medeniyetinin teşekkül edip gelişerektekâmüle ulaştığı coğrafî mekânların başında hiç şüphesiz Ma-veraünnehir ve Türkistan bölgesi gelmektedir. Bunda bubölgelerde hüküm süren Türk asıllı sultanlar, devlet erkânı vehali vakti yerinde olan ilim-irfan sahibi kimselerin tertip ettiğive daha sonra “Baykara Meclisleri” olarak genel kabul görenedebiyat ve kültür meclislerinin önemi çok büyüktür.Oluşturulan bu tip meclislerin hüviyetini bize aktaran enönemli eserlerden birisi hiç şüphesiz Zeynuddîn Mahmûd-ıVâsıfî’nin Bedâyi’u’l-vekâyi’ isimli kitabıdır. Bu çalışmada,Buhârâ’da 14 Şubat 1514 tarihinde ve daha sonraki günlerdetertip edilen ve bu eserin müellifi Vâsıfî tarafından aktarılanedebî meclislere yer verilecektir.

Abstract

Maveraünnehir (Mâwarâ’ an-Nahr/Transoxania) and the Turkistan regionareamong the leading geographical regions where the Turkish culture and civilization have been formed and developed. The Turkish sultans who ruled those lands, their high official sandeducatedelites of the society woul dorganise meeting storecite and discuss- poetry, which were later known as the Baykara Meclisleri (literary gathering sorganised by Baykara), and those gatherings had greatin fluence on the formative period of Turkish culture and civilization in thoselands. The Bedâyi’u’l-vekâyi by Zeynuddîn Mahmûd-ı Vâsıfî is one of the important workswhich gives information about the characteristics of those meetings. This article will exa- mine the literary gathering smentioned in Vâsıfî'swork, with a particularfocus on theonedatedto 14 February 1514, and some other sorganised in thefollowing days.
