Özet

Dede Korkut Kitabı'nda üç yüzden fazla deyim kullanılmıştır. Bunların belli bir kısmını somatik (beden uzuvları adlarıyla kurulan) deyimler oluşturmuştur. Onlar, makalede kurucu birleşenleriyle isim ve fiil düzeylerinde özdeşleştirilerek iki ayrı gruba bölünmüştür: Örneğin: Ağzı dualı, ince belli, dili acı; ağız açmak, baş koymak, gözü tutmak vb. Ayrıca söz konusu deyimlerin yapısal, semantik ve kavramsal özelliklerine göre de incelenmesi yapılmıştır.

Abstract

There are more than three hundred idioms in the book Dede Gorgud. Some of these idioms are somatic phrases (phrases which are formed mentioning the body parts). These are identified with the essay building elements by forming two groups in noun-phrase and predicatephrase levels. Ağzı dualı (someone who says prayers), ince belli (someone who is thin waisted), dili acı (someone who has a poisonous tongue); ağız açmak (to request), baş koymak (to set one's mind on something), gözü tutmak (to take a fancy to), etc. can be given as examples. Furthermore, the phrases are studied in terms of their structural, semantical and conceptual features.
