Investigation of the Mechanical Behavior of Ring-Section Connections with Circumferential Adhesion Surfaces Combined with Adhesive

Özet

Bu çalışmada; alın alına bindirmeli olarak yapıştırılmış halka kesitli bağlantıların çevresel yapışma yüzeylerininbağlantı mukavemetine olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Halka kesitli bağlantıların alın alına birleştirilmesi için erkekve dişi kalıp olarak üretilmişlerdir. Farklı iki yapıştırıcı (DP 410, DP 490), dört bindirme açısı ($30^o$ , $45^o$ , $60^o$ ,$90^o$ ), iki bindirme iç çapı (15mm, 20mm) ve dört bindirme mesafesi (10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm) ileyapıştırma işlemleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Belirlenen parametreler ile alın alına bindirmeli olarak yapıştırılmışnumunelerin burulma ve çekme deneyleri yapılmıştır. DP 410 yapıştırıcısıyla yapıştırılan numunelerin DP 490yapıştırıcısıyla yapıştırılan numunelere göre çekme kuvveti değerleri daha yüksek çıkmıştır. Burulma davranışları açısından da DP 410 ile birleştirilen numuneler DP 490’a göre daha iyi davranış göstermiştir.

Abstract

In this study; the effects of the circumferential adhesion surfaces of the ring cross-section joints bonded withoverlap on the bond strength were investigated. They are produced as male and female molds for joining ringcross-section connections. Bonding processes were carried out with two different adhesives (DP 410, DP 490),four overlap angles ($30^o$ , $45^o$ , $60^o$ ,$90^o$ ), two overlapping inner diameters (15mm, 20mm) and four overlapdistances (10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm). Tensile and torsion tests of the overlapped samples were carried outaccording to the determined parameters. The tensile strength values of the samples bonded with DP 410adhesive were higher than the samples bonded with DP 490 adhesive. In terms of torsional behavior, samplescombined with DP 410 showed better behavior than DP 490.
