Özet
Bu çalışmada, Soysal v.d, (1981) tarafından hazırlanan tarihsel depremlerin bölgesel düzenlemesi yapılmıştır. Bu katalog, Türkiye ve civarında 22° - 45° E boylamları ve 33° - 45° N enlemleri arasında oluşmuş, dörtbin yıllık döneme ait 1175 depremden oluşmuştur. Depremler 1° x 1° koordinat karelerine göre ve her bir kare içinde tarih sırasına göre düzenlenmiştir. Bu tip çalışmalar depremsellik, deprem riski ve depremlerin önceden tahmin edilmesi çalışmaları için oldukça faydalıdır.
Abstract
A regional rearrangement of historical earthquake catalogue has been done at this study. The earthquake catalogue is prepared by Soysal et al (1981). The catalogue contains 1175 historical earthquakes which occurred in Turkey and the surrounding areas limited by the 22° - 45° E longitudes and 33° - 45° N latitudes for the last four thousand years (BC 2100 - 1900 AD). The earthquakes are listed in the order of increasing year for each of the 1° x 1° coordinate areas. These type of rearrangement is fairly useful for seismicity, seismic risk and earthquake prediction.
