Özet

ÖZET Arteriyovenöz fistül (AVF) operasyonları, kronik böbrek yetmezliği (KBY) olan olgularda hemodiyaliz uygulanmasını kolaylaştıran ve yaşam standartlarını yükseltmek amacıyla en sık kullanılan yöntemlerdir. Arteriyovenöz fistülün kullanılmasına bağlı sık rastlanan komplikasyonlardan biri psödoanevrizma gelişimidir. Psödoanevrizma insidansı sentetik vasküler greftler ile diyalize girenlerde %2-10 oranında bildirilmiştir. Yaklaşık yedi yıldır son dönem KBY tanısıyla hemodiyaliz (HD) programını sürdüren ve üç yıl önce başka bir merkezde sağ üst ekstremitede tubuler gore-tex (PTFE) greft kullanılarak açılan AVF aracılığıyla HD programına devam eden hastanın son yedi aydır sağ kol üst bölgesinde giderek büyüme gösteren greft psödoanevrizma olgusunu sunmayı amaçladık.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous fistula operations are the procedures most frequently used to facilitate the use of haemodialysis and to improve the life standards and quality of the patients with chronic renal failure (CRF). One of the frequent complications caused by the use of arteriovenous fistula is the occurrence of pseudoaneurysm. The incidence of pseudoaneurysm has been documented to be between 2% and 10% in those who are exposed to dialysis through synthetic vascular grafts. In this study, we aimed to present a case of graft pseudoaneurysm in a patient who was kept under HD program due to the diagnosis of late CRF for seven years and who was attached to HD program via AYF by using a PTFE graft arteriovenous fistula on the right upper extremity. Though she was under haemodialysis for seven years, she experienced a swelling graft pseudoaneurysm in the upper part of her right arm within the last seven months.
