Kaynaştırma Uygulaması Yapan İlköğretim Okullarının 3. Sınıfına Devam Eden Normal İşiten ve İşitme Engelli Öğrencilerin Okuduğunu Anlama Becerilerinin İncelenmesi

Özet
Araştırmada, kaynaştırma uygulaması yapan ilköğretim okullarının 3. sınıfına devam eden normal işiten ve işitme engelli öğrencilerin resimli/resimsiz masal kitabı okumalarına göre okuduğunu anlama becerilerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Ankara il merkezindeki kaynaştırma uygulaması yapan ilköğretim okullarının 3. sınıfına devam eden 19 normal işiten, 19 işitme engelli olmak üzere toplam 38 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri her öğrenci ile bire-bir iletişim şeklinde, uyarıcı ve ses yönünden uygun olan bir ortamda toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, resimli/resimsiz olarak iki şekilde hazırlanmış bir masal kitabı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde "İki Oran Arasındaki Farkın Anlamlılık Testi" uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, normal işiten ve işitme engelli öğrencilerin tümünün geri anlatımında en yüksek oranda masaldaki ana kahramanlar yer almıştır. Masaldaki olaylar yönünden bakıldığında, normal işiten öğrencilerin geri anlatımlarında en yüksek oranda giriş, gelişme ve sonuç bölümlerindeki olayların, işitme engelli öğrencilerin geri anlatımlarında ise en yüksek oranda gelişme bölümündeki olayların yer aldığı görülmüştür. Masal ile ilgili sorulara verilen cevaplarda ise, resimli masal kitabı okuyan normal işiten ve işitme engelli öğrenciler arasında doğru cevap verenlerin oranının, resimsiz masal kitabı okuyan normal işiten ve işitme engelli öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur.
Abstract
The aim of this research is to investigate the reading comprehension of pictured and non-pictured fairy-tale books of students, who are hearing impaired and normal hearing students and attending 3rc* grade of elementary schools. The schools are possessing on mainstreaming application programs. The sample of the study has been constituted from 38 students and their schools were in the city center of Ankara. 19 of the students were hearing impaired and 19 were normal hearing students. The investigation data have been summed by involved students through direct communication with them in a convenient place for noise and stimulation. As data materials, two fairy-tales books have been used: one of the books was pictured and the other was non-pictured. For analyzing the data, "Significance Test for Difference of Averages" was used. According to the findings normal hearing stu¬dents and hearing impaired students have given back-expressions including main characters in a high rate. When the events in tales were examined, it was seen that the normal hearing students placed in a high rate of back-expressions including introduction, development and result events, and the hearing impaired students placed back expressions including events of developing part of the tales in a high rate. When the answers of the questions about the tales were considered, it was seen that the rate of correct answers were higher for normal hearing and hearing impaired students reading pictured book then the students reading non^pictured book.
