Özet

Çanakkale Muharebeleri Türk tarihi ve Dünya tarihi açısında önemli birdönüm noktasıdır. Savaşların siyasi sonuçları yanında iktisadî ve içtimaî sonuçları da vardır. Bununla birlikte savaş sadece muharebe cephede harp ya dabirliklerin ikmali ile de değildir. Yaralanmalar, hastalıklar ve bunların tedavileri de savaşın bir parçasıdır.Osmanlı Devleti savaş sırasındaki sağlık hizmetlerinin kayıtlarını tutmuş-tur. Özellikle İstanbulda Hilâl-i Ahmer Cemiyetinin idaresindeki hastanelerinsağlık kayıtları bu açıdan çok önemlidir. Cephe gerisine getirilen bir yaralınınhastaneye girişinden hangi halde olursa olsun çıkışına kadar kaydının tutulması tıp tarihi ve dönemin sağlık hizmetlerinin anlaşılması açısından da ayrıcaönemli bir durumdur. Bu çalışma ile Hilâl-i Ahmer Cemiyetinin hastanelerindeki kayıtlardan yola çıkarak, yaralıların cephedeki yaralanmalarını mahiyetive vefat sebepleri üzerinde durulacaktır.

Abstract

The Gallipoli Battles is a turning point in Turkish history as well as theworld history. There are economic and social outcomes of these wars. At the same time, the wars are not all about combatting in the battlefield and unitsupply. Injuries, illnesses and treatment of these are a part of the wars as well.The Ottoman Empire took a record of health care services during the war.Particularly, the records of the hospitals under the management of Istanbul sRed Crescent Association are very important. Besides, it equally important toknow how the sanitation works went down in that time for the history of medicine, to have a record of the wounded from his/her coming to the hospital andleaving.With this study, based upon the Red Crescent Association s hospital records, we will lay emphasis on the essence of battlefield injuries and the causesof deaths.
