Özet

Özet: Osmanlı İmparatorluğundan günümüze değin vasıflı işgücüne olan ihtiyaç ve bu ihtiyacın giderilmesinde birincil derecede önem taşıyan mesleki eğitim politikalarının gelişimini, kalkınma perspektifini de göz önünde tutarak inceleyen bu çalışma, sahip olduğu tarihsel bakış açısı ile bu alandaki önemli bir boşluğu doldurma amacını taşımaktadır. Çalışma, vasıflı işgücü ihtiyacı ve mesleki eğitim sorununun Cumhuriyet dönemine mahsus olmadığını ve hatta Osmanlı döneminde bu alanda yapılması arzu edilen hamlelerin Cumhuriyet dönemi ile birebir benzerlik taşıdığını ortaya koymaktadır.

Abstract

Abstract: This study, with a historical perspective from the Ottoman period to the present, aims to fill a significant gap in the literature by examining the need for skilled workforce and development of vocational training which has the primary responsibility in this context . The study reveals the fact that the need for skilled workforce and the problem of vocational training are not unique to the Republican era and targetted policies in this area during the Ottoman period overlap to a large extent with the policies of the Republican era.
