Özet

Bu çalışmada 1990-1995 yılları arasında Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi Genel Cerrahi Anabilim Dalında paraziter olmayan dalak kistleri nedeniyle öpere edilen 9 hasta literatür ışığı altında irdelenmiştir. Hastaların 3'ü erkek 6'sı kadın olup yaş ortalamaları 37'dir (17-78). Yapılan patolojik inceleme sonucunda 4 psödokist, 4 epidermoid kist ve 1 mezotelyal kist tespit edilmiştir. Psödokistlerin 3'ü erkek l'i kadın olup, hepsinin anamnezinde bir travma hikayesi vardır. Epidermoid kistli hastaların 3'ü kadın l'i erkek, mezotelyal kistli hasta ise erkektir.

Abstract

Non-parasitic Splenic Cysts In this study 9 cases of non-parasitic cysts of the spleen which were operated at the Cerrahpaşa Medical School, Department of Surgery are evaluated with the review of the literature. 6 patients were female and 3 patients were male. The median age of the patients was 37 (17-78) years. Following the pathological assesment 4 pseudo-cysts, 4 epidermoid cysts and 1 mezothelial cyst were encountered. Pseudocystic's were 3 female and 1 male patients having an old trauma history. 3 of the epidermoid cystic patients were female and 1 was male and the patient having mezothelial cyst was male. Splenectomy is the primaiy choice of recommendation for the prevention or treatment of complications which are infection, haemorr¬hage and rupture which were been reported and may be life threatening. In our clinic, 8 patients had total splenectomy and 1 patient having epidermoid cyst had partial splenectomy.
