Abstract

Male breast cancer is an uncommon malignancy that is diagnosed in a more advanced stage of disease than in women- Our aim is to make a discussion with the data of four "males breast cancer" cases diagnosed in our clinic with the guidelines of literature. Four men with breast cancer treated at our institution in a 5 years period were retrospectively reviewed. Male/female ratio was found 5.6 % that is higher than the literature. The most common clinical presentation was a painless mass in the breast. Early diagnosis and treatment is necessary for a favorable prognosis. Male breast cancer cases were diagnosed at more advanced stages than women. As a conclusion breast cancer is not only a disease for woman. We have to pay attention to this disease. The people have to be informed about the disease.
