Özet

Amaç. Bu çalışmanın amacı kadınların menopozal belirtilerinin ve evlilik uyumlarının yaşam kalitesi üzerine etkisini belirlemektir. Yöntem. Araştırmanın evreni Celal Bayar Üniversitesi Kadın ve Doğum Hastalıkları Polikliniğine menopozal belirtiler ile başvuran toplam 1346 hastadan oluşmaktadır. Araştırma 1 Kasım 2005-31 Ocak 2006 tarihleri arasında kesitsel olarak planlandı. Çalışmanın örneklemini, çalış­maya katılmayı kabul eden ve evli olan 226 kadın oluşturdu. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan 40 soruluk anket formu, Menopoz Semptomlarını Değerlendirme Ölçeği (MRS), Evlilik Uyum Ölçeği ve Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (WHOQOL-BREF-TR) kullanıldı. Abstract

Aim. Based on this supposition the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of menopausal women's symptoms and marital adjustment on their quality of life. Methods. The research population was comprised of 1346 women who presented to Celal Bayar University Obstetrics. The research planned as cross- sectional between November 1, 2005 and January 31, 2006, and 226 women who wanted to attend to study and married created the sample of study. For data collection a 40-question survey developed by the researcher, the Menopause Symptoms Evaluation Survey (MRS), Marital Adjustment Scale, and Quality of Life Scale (WHOQOL-BREF-TR) were used.
