Özet

Bu çalışmada Hamdullah Hamdinin Yusuf u Züleyha Mesnevisi ile Thomas ManninYusuf ve Kardeşleri Romanı mukayese edilecektir. Hamdullah Hamdinin mesnevisi kaynağınıKuran-ı Kerimden alırken Thomas Mannin Yusuf ve Kardeşleri ise Kitab-ı Mukaddes ten alır. Çalışma her iki eserin de üç ana karakteri olan Yakup, Yusuf ve Züleyhanın olay örgüsüiçerisinde nasıl tasvir edildiklerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır.

Abstract

In this study Hamdullah Hamdi s Mathnawi of Yusuf u Züleyha and the novel called Josephund Seine Brüder by Thomas Mann will be compared. While the Mathnawi of Hamdullah Hamdigets its source from the Holy Qur an, Thomas Mann s Joseph und Seine Brüder gets the source fromThe Bible. The study aims to indicate how the characters Jac op, Joseph and Zuleyha that are the threemain characters of both of th e works are portrayed in the plot.
