İmplant destekli protezlerde pasif uyum

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı implant destekli protezlerde(İDP) pasif uyumu tespit etmek için kullanılan metotları ve pasif uyumun sağlanabilmesi içingeliştirilen prosedürleri incelemektir. Üstyapıfabrikasyonu için kullanılan klinik ve laboratuarprosedürler İDPde pasif uyumun tam olaraksağlanmasında yetersizdir. Uyumsuz altyapınınmevcudiyeti implant destekli restorasyonlardamekanik başarısızlığa veya çevre dokularda biyolojikkomplikasyonlara neden olabilir. Bazı protetikkomplikasyonlar uyumsuzluğa yol açmasına rağmen,pasif uyumun implant başarısında olan etkisi kesindeğildir. Bununla beraber üstyapı uyumunusağlamada kullanılan ileri teknolojinin artanuygulamalarının klinik sonuçları gelecek vaatetmektedir. Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the methodsused to determine passive fit of implant supportedprosthesis and the developed procedures to achivepassive fit. The clinical and laboratory proceduresemployed for framework fabrication are inadequate toprovide an absolute passive fit for implant-supportedfixed superstructures. However ill-fitting implantframeworks may cause mechanical failures of theprostheses and the implant systems, or biologiccomplications of the surrounding tissue. Althoughsome prosthetic complications are attributed to thelack of passive fit, its effect on implant success isquestionable. Nevertheless, the clinical results ofincreasing applications of advanced technology toimprove framework fit seem promising. This articlereviews the clinical significance of passive fit, thefactors that affect the final fit of implant supportedframeworks and clinical methods for evaluatingimplant framework fit.
