Renk körü ve renk körü olmayan diş hekimlerinin renk seçimindeki başarı oranlarının değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, renk körü ve renkkörü olmayan diş hekimlerinin renk seçimindekibaşarı oranlarının değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: En az 3 sene klinikdeneyimi olan, yaşları 26 ile 63 arasındaki dişhekimleri (n=90) çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Testuygulaması yapılmadan önce tüm bireylere İshihararenk körlüğü testi uygulanmıştır. Ivoclar Klasikrenk skalası referans alınarak, her bir renkten 2 şeradet olmak üzere toplam 32 adet disk (13 mm x 2,4mm) hazırlandı. Aynı renkte olan porselenörneklerin eşleştirilmesi istendi. Bulgular: Renk körü olan hekimler renklerieşleştirmede başarı oranı 33,92 % dir. Renk körüolmayan diş hekimlerinde ise bu oran 60,09% dur.Renk körü olmayan diş hekimleri renkeşleştirmesinde sırasıyla A3.5, B3, C4, D2renklerinde yüksek oranda başarı sağlamışlardır.Renk körü olan hekimler ise A1, B1, C1, B2, D2,A3 renklerinin eşleştirmesinde başarılıolamamışlardır. Sonuç: Renk körü olan hekimler renkseçiminde, renk körü olmayan hekimlere göre dahabaşarısız olmuşlardır.
Abstract
Objectives: The aim of this study was toassesment of normal color vision and color vision- deficient dentists success ratio on color evaluation. Materials and Methods: Dentists who haveminimum 3 years clinical experience and between26-63 years old (n=90) were included for this study.Ishihara color blindness test was applied in alldentists before the test applying. Two pieces fromeach color totally 32 (13 mm x 2.4 mm) porcelainspecimens were fabricated. There were 32 tabswere to be matched; the dentists were asked to mark the correct colorcode Results: Success rate of matching colors ofcolor blind dentists was 33.92% ratio. The ratio incolor vision dentists was 60.09%. Normal colorvision dentists showed highest degree in matchingat A3.5, B3, C4, D2 colors. Color vision-deficientdentists were unsuccessful in matching A1, B1, C1,B2, D2, A3 colors. Conclusions: Color vision-deficient dentistswere less succesfull than normal color visiondentists in color matching.
