Metal üzerine preslenebilir seramik restorasyonlar ve klinik uygulamasi: olgu sunumu

Özet

Tam seramik restorasyonların doğal dişe yakınestetiği ve biyouyumlu olmaları nedeniylegünümüzde yaygın bir şekilde uygulanmasınarağmen, metal seramik restorasyonlar (MSR)yapısal sağlamlık ve bilinirliği sayesinde dişkayıplarının tedavisinde geleneksel bir tedaviseçeneği olmuştur. MSR ın kullanımı fonksiyonelve estetik getirileri sayesinde uzun yıllar başarısağlamış ve karmaşık vakaların çözümünde enuygun seçenek olmuştur. Dental materyallerdekigüncel gelişmelerle birlikte MSR da gelişmelerolmuş, fiziksel özellikleri geliştirilmiş ve feldspatikporselenlerden daha az aşınan ve metal alt yapıüzerine preslenen (PoM) yeni nesil seramiklergeliştirilmiştir. PoM uygulaması ile birlikte MSRda estetik ve fonksiyon uyumunun arttırılmasıplanlanmaktadır. Bu makalede PoM uygulanmış birolgunun klinik uygulama aşamaları ve 2 yıllıktakibi anlatılmıştır.

Abstract

Although all-ceramic restorations have beencommonly used nowadays, because of their similaresthetics to natural teeth and biocompatibility,metal-ceramic restorations restorations (MCR) havebeen the traditional restorative option for thetreatment of missing teeth due to their durabilityand predictability, The use of MCRs enables long- term restorative success with functional andaesthetic benefits and can be incorporated in therehabilitation of complex cases. Recent advances indental materials have led to the development ofMCRs, newer generation porcelains have beendeveloped that have improved physical properties,decreased abrasion potential than conventionalfeldspathic ceramics and are pressed over metalalloy substructures (PoM). With the use of PoMtechnique the esthetic and function of the MCRscan be improved. This article represents the clinicalsteps of a patient treated with PoM and 2 yearfollow-up of the restorations.
