Abstract
In this paper, the boundedness and compactness properties ofinÖnite tridiagonal block operator matrices in the direct sum of Hilbert spacesare studied. The necessary and su¢ cient conditions for these operators belongto Schatten-von Neumann class are given. Then, the results are supported by applications.
