Özet
Oligodonti gibi diş anomalilerine sahip çocuk ve adölesanlarda kalıcı protetik tedaviler büyümenin tamamlanmasını takiben yapılabildiğinden, önemli bir süre boyunca olumsuz fonksiyonel, psikolojik ve estetik etkiler ile karşılaşılmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda estetik, çiğneme fonksiyonu ve ayrıca uygun dikey boyutu yeniden kazandıran overdenture ve hareketli parsiyel protezler kullanılarak oligodonti görülen iki çocuk hastada uygulanan konservatif ve protetik tedavi protokolü yer almaktadır.
Abstract
Dental anomalies such as oligodontia may cause negative functional, psychological and esthetic effects for children or adolescents during a considerable amount of time as the definitive treatment can be carried out after the completion of growth. The present report describes conservative and prosthetic management of two children with oligodontia by fabrication of overdenture and removable partial denture, which reestablished esthetics, masticatory function and also proper vertical dimension.
