Abstract

Background and Aims: To investigate how the current COVID-19 epidemic influenced the professional approaches in a restorative dentistry clinic of a dental school in Turkey during the lockdown. Materials and Methods: The records of first-visit patients seeking only emergency dental services from a department of restorative dentistry of a dental school during 11.3.2020- 11.09.2020 were retrieved. Data were collected from pre filled forms including demographic characteristics and the complaints of the patients, treatment reports (indication for treatment, treatments carried out), need for aerosol generating procedures (AGP), restorative material preferences and the use of preventive protective procedures (PPE) of the dentists.
