Özet

Türk tarihi tek bir coğrafyanın tarihi olmadığından Hunlar ve Memlükler tarihinin hem Batı, hem de Doğu'da bir geçmişi mevcuttur. Savaşçı göçebeler önce Çin'in, Roma İmparatorluğu'nun ve Perslerin dikkatini çekmiştir. Hunlardan gelen askerî geleneklere sahip Türk ordusu Türk Kağanlığının kurulması, kalkınması ve güçlenmesi için bir temel oluşturmuştur. Türkler sadece kendi devletini güçlendirmekle kalmayıp Tang Hanedanına da askerî yardım sağlayarak onu dış tehditlerden korumuşlardı. Tang Hanedanı ile çatışma döneminde eski Türkler iç sorunları dolayısıyla zayıfladıklarında dış düşmanların denetiminde idiler. Bu dönemde de göçebe Türk halklarının temsilcilerinden paralı ordular ve milisler kurulmuştur. Türk, Savir ve Bulgarlardan oluşan paralı askerler Pers ve Bizansların savaşında her iki tarafta da yer almışlardı. Arap ülkelerinde ise bu paralı askerler Gulam ve Memlükler idi. Çalışmamızda Türk ordusunun ve milislerin oluşumuyla gelişimi, Tang Hanedanı ve Arap Halifeliği'ne olan etkileri ele alınmıştır. Burada askerden hükümdara kadar yükselen Türk savaşçılarının devlet yönetim sistemindeki rolü gösterilmektedir

Abstract

The history of the ancient Turks and the Mamluks has its prehistory in both theEast and the West. One of the first who paid attention to the warlike nomadswere China, the Roman Empire and Persia.The Turkic army during the conflictwith the Tang Dynasty after a brief diminution gradually increased. Having militarytraditions from the times of the Huns, this army became the basis for theformation, development and consolidation of powerful Turkic Kaganate. Turksnot only strengthens their own state but also provided military support by rescuingthe state from external wars Tang. During the confrontation with the TangDynasty ancient Turks were weak because of internal contradictions and that'swhy they were subordinated to the external enemy. At that time, parts of thenomadic Turkic nations created mercenary army and guards in the Tang Dynasty.Mercenaries from the Turks, Bulgarians and Savir participated in military actionsof Persians and the Byzantines from both sides. In Arab countries, it was Ghulamsand Mamluks. The history of formation of mercenary legions in the Middle Easthas a significant interest for the study in exploring one of the unknown pages ofthe history of Turkic nations.
