Özet

Klippel-Feil Sendromu düşük arka saç çizgisi, servikal vertebraların füzyonuyla sonuçlanan kısıtlı boyun hareketi ve kısa boyun ile karakterizedir. Bu durum laringoskopi ve trakeal entübasyon sırasında hem spontan hem de minör travma sonucu nörolojik defisite yol açabilir. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı Klippel-Feil Sendromlu bir hastaya anestezik yaklaşımı gözden geçirmekti.

Abstract

Klippel - Feil Syndrome is characterized by the classic triad of shortness of the neck, reduced neck movements resulting from fusion of cervical vertebrae and a low posterior hair- line. These features may lead to neurological deficits either spontaneously or as a result of minor trauma during direct laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation. The purpose of this case report was to discuss the anesthetic approach to a patient with Klippel - Feil Syndrome.
