Abstract
This study aims to look at the Turkish National Struggle in the light of different sources and to share the new information that has not been revealed until today with readers. American archival documents constitute the main means used in the construction of this objective. Along with the reports of the American consuls and other authorities such as American High Commissioner, the reports of the American missions in Athens, London and Paris will be evaluated throughout the study. As is known, the United States of America (USA) joined the First World War in 1917, however it also developed a number of discourses of neutrality (such as the 14 articles proposed by President Wilson) that would distinguish it from the European Allied states. Besides, the US seems to be the only state that helped civil society in the last period of the Greek occupation. Therefore, the reports of the US missions commissioned in Turkey comprise a number of confidential and exceptional details. The effects of the occupation period and its last days, especially on the Turkish and non-Muslim society in Anatolia, can be seen with all clarity in the evaluated reports.
