MUHAFAZAKÂR İDEOLOJİNİN ÖZGÜRLÜK VE EŞİTLİK ANLAYIŞINDA TOPLUMSAL VE SİYASİ OTORİTELER

Özet

Siyasi ideolojiler insanları bir fikir etrafında toplayabilen, modern zamanların önemli harç dokusu olmuştur. Her ideoloji kendi çerçevesini çizerek sınırlarını belirlemiştir. Bu sınırlar içerisinde ideolojilerin temel kabulleri söz konusu olmuştur. Siyasi ve sosyal normlara göre inşa edilen bu temel kabulleriyle muhafazakâr ideoloji, Batı’nın siyasi düşünce tarihinde oldukça önemli bir yere sahiptir. Liberalizm ve sosyalizm gibi ideolojilerden farklı bir düzen tasavvurunu ortaya atan muhafazakâr ideoloji, müstakil ve tek bir çizgide ilerleyen, bütüncül bir ideoloji değildir. Zamanla değişime uğramış ve kendi içerisinde farklı yorumlarla çeşitlenmiştir. Muhafazakâr düşüncenin temel kabulleri içerisinde özgürlük ve eşitlik kavramlarına karşı tutumu ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada muhafazakâr ideolojinin kavramsal çerçevesi ve temel kabulleri ifade edildikten sonra muhafazakâr ideolojinin özgürlük ve eşitlik kavramlarına bakış açısına değinilmiştir. Özgürlük ve eşitlik kavramlarının toplumsal kullanımında muhafazakâr ideolojinin otorite ile olan ilişkisi ifade edilmiştir. Bu çalışma, muhafazakâr anlayışın siyasi ve toplumsal otoriteler ile olan ilişkisinin, muhafazakâr ideolojinin güçlü kalmasında önemli bir rol oynadığını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, literatürle uyumlu bir şekilde, Muhafazakâr siyasetin politika ürettiği değerler içerisinde, otoritenin ve hiyerarşinin önemli bir konumda olduğu iddia edilmiştir.

Abstract

Political ideologies have been an important part of modern times that can gather people around an idea. Each ideology has drawn its own framework and defined its limits. Within these limits, there are basic acceptances of ideologies. Conservative ideology, with these basic acceptances built according to political and social norms, has a very important place in the history of Western political thought. Conservative ideology, which proposes a different conception of order from ideologies such as liberalism and socialism, is not an independent and holistic ideology that proceeds in a single line. It has changed over time and diversified with different interpretations within itself. Among the basic assumptions of conservative thought, its attitude towards the concepts of freedom and equality stands out. In this study, after expressing the conceptual framework and basic acceptances of the conservative ideology, the perspective of the conservative ideology on the concepts of freedom and equality was discussed. In the social use of the concepts of freedom and equality, the relationship of conservative ideology with authority was also examined. This study aimed to reveal that the relationship of conservative understanding with political and social authorities plays an important role in keeping conservative ideology strong. As a result of this study, in line with the literature, it was claimed that authority and hierarchy are in an important position within the values that Conservative politics produces policy.
