Özet

Türk Devrimi’nin modernleşme projelerinden biri olan Halkevleri, Cumhuriyetdöneminin en önemli kültür kurumlarından biridir. İnkılâpların halka aktarımıkonusunda aracı bir kurum olan Halkevleri, yerel ve ulusal alanda yaptığı çalışmalar,spor aktiviteleri, folklorik derlemeler gibi birçok çalışma sahasına imza atmıştır.Halkevleri resmi olarak 19 Şubat 1932 tarihinde açılıp, her yıl şube sayısını düzenlibir şekilde arttırmıştır. 19 Şubat 1934, ikinci kuruluş yıldönümünde açılmasıkararlaştırılan halkevlerinden biri olan Ünye Halkevi, kuruluşundan itibaren faaliyetkollarıyla aktif bir çalışma programı izlemiştir. Alt katındaki fırından çıkan yangınsonucu, binası kullanılamaz hale gelen Ünye Halkevi, yaşanan talihsizliğe ve uzunyıllar yeni bina arayışlarına rağmen eldeki imkânlarla faaliyetlerine devam etmiştir.Bu makalede Ünye Halkevinin faaliyetleri ve kurumsal yapısı incelenmeyeçalışılmıştır.

Abstract

One of the modernization projects of the Turkish Revolution, the People's Houses are one of the most important cultural institutions of the Republican era. The People's Houses are intermediary institutions for the transfer of the reforms to the public. This institution did many workshops such as local and national workshops, sports activities and folklore. People's Houses were officially opened on February 19, 1932, and their number of branches regularly increased year by year. The Unye People’s House, another one of the People's Houses was decided to be opened on the anniversary of its second foundation, that is On 19 February 1934, and it has followed an active program with its activities since its founding. A fire originating from the oven on the lower floor has made the building inoperative. But the Unye People’s House has continued its activities with possibilities available despite the misfortune and lack of a new building for many years. In this article, the activities and institutional structure of the Unye People’s House was tried to be examined.
