Abstract

Unfortunately, the phenomenon of divorce in the Gulf has become a very big concern in the Gulf countries where divorce has become a social problem resulting from the failure of the couple in harmony has revealed a recent study at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the rates of divorce recorded a significant increase in recent years in the countries of the region, Still rising. The statistics presented in this study showed that overall divorce rates as a percentage of all marriages in the Gulf countries were 20 per cent in Saudi Arabia in 2008, 24 per cent in Bahrain 2007, 25.62 per cent in the UAE, 34.76 per cent Qatar, 2009, 37.13 per cent, and Kuwait.
