Özet

Konjenital boyun kistlerinden en sık karşılaşılan tiroglossal kanal kistidir TKK ve %1 oranında malign hale gelebilir. En sık görülen malign patoloji, tiroidin papiller karsinomasıdır. Tedavinin planlanması ve tanı için genellikle patolojik inceleme gereklidir.Burada, boyun sağ medial yerleşimli, 3x2 cm çaplı TKK’ i olan, transservikal eksizyon ile tedavi edilen 38 yaşında erkek hasta sunuldu.

Abstract

The most common congenital neck masses, thyroglossal duct cyst TDC can give rise to a malignancy in 1% of the cases. Most common malignant pathology found in this rare entity is papillary carcinoma. Diagnosis in commonly made after pathologic examination for planning the treatment.Herein, we report a 3x2cm diameter isolated TDC of the right medial in a 38-year-old man who was treated by transcervical excision.
