Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Borsa İstanbul İmalat Sanayi Sektörü’ nde yer alanalt sektörlerin sektörel yoğunlaşma düzeyini belirlemektir. Çalışmanın veriseti, imalat sanayi sektörü içerisinde yer alan 8 alt sektöre ait 2012’den2017' ye kadar her yıla ait satış hasılatı verilerinden oluşmaktadır. Sektörelyoğunlaşma düzeyini belirleyebilmek için, Hirschman-Herfindahl Endeksiyöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda 4 alt sektörün oligopolcü piyasa,diğer 4 alt sektörün ise monopolcü rekabet piyasası özelliği gösterdiği tespitedilmiştir.
Abstract
The objective of this study is to determine the market concentration level of the sectors of manufacturing operating at Borsa İstanbul. The data set of the study consists of the sales revenue data of each year from 2012 to 2017, belonging to 8 sub-sectors in the Borsa İstanbul Manufacturing Index. The Herfindahl-Hirschman method (HHI Method) has been used to determine the market concentration level. The results conclude that 4 sub-sectors are oligopolistic market, and the other 4 sub-sectors are monopolistic competition market.
