Özet

İmplant üstü sabit restorasyonlarda sıklıkla tercih edilen simantutuculu sistemlerde, artık siman tamamen ortadan kaldırılamadığıiçin, son yıllarda implant-dayanak tasarımı ve bağlantıları ile ilgiligelişmeler ön plana çıkmıştır. Tüm bu gelişmelere rağmen, artıksiman peri-implant hastalıklar için olası bir risk göstergesi olaraktanımlanmaktadır. Peri-implant hastalıklardan korunabilmek veimplantın uzun dönem idamesini sağlayabilmek için, simantasyonsonrası artık simanın tespit edilebilmesi kritik önem taşımaktadır.Bu derlemede, artık simanın tespiti için kullanılan yöntemlerklinisyenlere ışık tutması açısından bir araya getirilmiştir.

Abstract

In cement-retained systems, which are frequently preferred in fixed restorations on implants, since the cement cannot be removed completely, developments in implant-abutment design and connections have come to the fore in recent years. Despite all these developments, cement is now identified as a possible risk indicator for peri-implant diseases. In order to be protected from peri-implant diseases and to ensure long-term maintenance of the implant, it is critical to detect residual cement after cementation. In this review, the methods used for the detection of residual cement are brought together in order to shed light on the clinicians
