Özet

Bu araştırma, Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'nda lisans III. sınıf programı I. yarıyılda yer alan "Bireysel Çalgı ve Öğretimi I" ile lisans IV. sınıf programında yer alan " Bireysel Çalgı ve Öğretimi III " dersleri kapsamı ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Akran öğretimine dayalı öğrenme-öğretme yaklaşımı yoluyla çift taraflı öğrenme gerçekleşeceği düşünülmektedir. Bu amaçla, lisans III. ve IV. sınıf öğrencilerine lisans I ve II. sınıf öğrencilerinden birer öğrencinin ders öğretmeni gözetiminde sorumluluğu verilerek 4 hafta süresince ders yapması istenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturan on sekiz lisans I, II, III ve IV. sınıf viyolonsel öğrencisi ile çalışma sonunda görüşme yapılmıştır.

Abstract

This research is limited within the context of "Individual Instrument and Teaching I", which is available at the 1st semester of the 3rd year at Division of Music Teaching, and "Individual Instrument and Teaching III" classes. Once the subjects regarding the individual instrument teaching classes are applied to lower-grade students, a mutual learning is estimated to be accomplished by means of a peer teaching based learning-teaching approach. For this purpose, the responsibility of one student from 1st grade and another from the 2nd grade was given to 3rd grade and 4th grade students, under the supervision of the class teacher, and they were asked to attend classes for 4 weeks. 18 cello students from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, forming the research sample, were interviewed at the and of this study. This research is regarded as qualitative with this aspect. All the positive-negative feedbacks provided by students as a result of peer teaching based learning-teaching approach were codified through content analysis, organized and an explanatory theme was determined. In the research it has been concluded that students who receive peer-based education are better at communicating with their peers and compensate their deficiencies as a result of a second course opportunity; students who provide peer-based education gain more professional experience, realize their deficiencies and therefore improve themselves.
