ORTAOKUL 5. SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN ÇEVREYE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARINA DÖNÜŞÜMSEL ÖĞRENME KURAMI UYGULAMALARININ ETKİS

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, dönüşümsel öğrenme kuramı uygulamalarının ortaokul 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin çevreye yöneliktutumlarına etkisinin incelenmesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada kontrol gruplu ön test- son test yarı deneysel desenkullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Ege bölgesindeki bir ilin merkez ilçesindeyer alan bir devlet okulunun 5. sınıflarında öğrenim görmekte olan 34 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Deney grubunda yer alan 18öğrenci ile dönüşümsel öğrenme kuramına dayalı ders işlenirken, kontrol grubunda yer alan 16 öğrenciyle ise dersler fenbilimleri dersi öğretim programı doğrultusunda yürütülmüştür. Dönüşümsel öğrenme kuramının uygulaması 5. sınıf fenbilimleri dersi “İnsan ve Çevre” ünitesi “İnsan ve Çevre İlişkisi” konusunda, toplam 11 ders saatinde gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; Çevre Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde Mann Whitney U veWilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, deney grubu öğrencilerinin çevre tutum ölçeğison test puanlarının kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin çevre tutum ölçeği son test puanlarına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığıtespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular ışığında önerilere yer verilmiştir.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of transformational learning theory applications on the attitudes towards the environment of secondary school 5th grade students. Pre test-post test quasi-experimental design has been used in study. The study group consisted of 34 students studying 5 th grades of a public school located in the central district of a province in the Aegean in the 2017-2018 academic year. Transformational learning theory was used as teaching activities in the experiment group consist of 18 students and the science curriculum were used as teaching activities in the control group consist of 16 students. The application of the transformational learning theory of the 5th grade science course was carried out in 11 class hours on “Human and Environment” unit, “Human and Environment Relation” topic. Environment Attitude Scale was used as data collection tool. Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks analyzes were used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, it was found that the post-test scores of the experimental group students' environment attitude scale differed significantly from the post-test scores of the control group students. In the light of the findings, suggestions were given.
