Türkiye’nin Çekirdeksiz Kuru Üzüm İhracat Potansiyeli

Özet

Türkiye çekirdeksiz kuru üzüm üretiminde 2016/2017 üretim sezonunda %24.92’lik pay ile dünyada birinci sırada yer almaktadır. Türkiye’yi ABD, Çin, İran ve Özbekistan takip etmektedir. İklim faktörlerine bağlı olarak dünya çekirdeksiz kuru üzüm üretiminde dalgalanmalar yaşanmaktadır. Dünya çekirdeksiz kuru üzüm ihracat hacmi, yıllara göre değişmekle birlikte, yaklaşık 750 bin ton civarındadır. 2016/2017 ihracat döneminde, dünya ihracatı 774.714 ton olup Türkiye’nin payı %34’tür. Aynı zamanda, üretilen üzümün yaklaşık %85’ini ihraç etmesiyle; dünya çekirdeksiz kuru üzüm piyasasında da söz sahibi bir ülkedir. Dünya ihracatında, Türkiye’yi; İran, ABD, Özbekistan ve Şili izlemektedir. Türkiye’de çekirdeksiz kuru üzüm ihracatı genel olarak İzmir’den yapılmaktadır. Ayrıca İzmir Ticaret Borsası’nda işlem görmekte ve piyasa burada gerçekleşmektedir. Türkiye’nin çekirdeksiz kuru üzüm üretiminde temel problemler; iklim durumuna bağlı olarak üretimde yıllara göre oluşan önemli dalgalanmalar, ihracata giden ürünlerde kalıntı sorunu, üretici örgütlerinin yaygın ve etkin olmaması şeklinde sıralanabilir. Bu çalışmada; dünyada ve Türkiye’de çekirdeksiz kuru üzüm üretim durumu ortaya konulmuş, dış ticaret yapısı irdelenmiş, Türkiye’nin ihracatını artırılabilmesi için izlenmesi gereken politikalar üzerinde durulmuştur.

Abstract

Turkey is ranking the first in the world production of seedless raisins in the world with a 24.64 % share in the 2016/2017 production season. The subsequent producers are the USA, China, Iran, and Uzbekistan. Depending on the climate factors, there have been yearly fluctuations in the production of world seedless raisins. Despite the number of seedless raisins exported are highly year dependent, it is about 750 000 tons in the world, 34% of which belong to Turkey. At the same time, with the export rate of approximately 85% of the raisins produced; Turkey is a key country in the world seedless raisins market. In terms of the exported amount, Iran, the USA, Uzbekistan, and Chile follow Turkey. Seedless raisins are usually exported out from Izmir, Turkey. It is also traded on the Izmir Commodity Exchange, and the market is taking place there. Turkey's main problems in the production of seedless raisins; climate-dependent fluctuation in raisins production in differing years, excessive pesticide residues in the products, lacking efficiency and number of producer organizations. In this study; seedless raisins production of Turkey and the world were elucidated along with the structure of the international market and consequently, the required policies in order to increase Turkey’s raisins export were suggested.
