EVALUATION OF THE SOCIAL-CULTURAL-ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS THAT AFFECT TAX REVENUES

Özet

Vergi gelirlerini belirleyen çeşitli etmenler bulunmaktadır. İnsan, sosyal bir varlık olduğu için salt ekonomik etmenlere odaklanılmamalıdır. Vergi mükelleflerinin sosyal yaşam içerisindeki yerleri, kültürel birikimleri, mükelleflerin ilişki kurdukları çevresel etmenleri vergi gelirlerinin oluşumunu etkilemektedir. Çalışmada vergi gelirlerini etkileyen başlıca sosyal, kültürel ve çevresel etmenler açıklanmaktadır. Bu etmenlerin vergi gelirleriyle ilişkileri, vergi gelirlerini hangi yönden etkiledikleri irdelenmektedir. Vergi gelirlerini etkileyen sosyal, kültürel ve çevre- sel etmenlerin vergi gelirlerine olumlu katkı sağlamasına yönelik vergi politikası önerileri sunulmaktadır.

Abstract

There are various factors that determine the tax revenues. The focus should not solely be on economic factors as the human is a social being. The status of taxpayers in social life, their cultural backgrounds, and the environmental factors that taxpayers interact with inluence the formation of tax revenues. The study aims to explain the main social, cultural, and environmental factors that affect tax revenues. It examines the relationship of these factors with tax revenues and the way they affect tax revenues. Tax policy recommendations are presented about the positive contributions to tax revenues of social, cultural, and environmental factors that affect tax revenues.
