Özet
II. Meşrutiyet seçimleri (1908-912-1914-1919) Türk demokrasi tarihi açısından önemli gelişmelerin ve birikimlerin yaşandığı süreçtir. Seçimlere katılan adayların propaganda amacıyla hazırladıkları beyannameler dönemi yansıtan önemli ayrıntılar içermektedir. Çalışmamızda 1912 seçimleri için Serfice Sancağı mebus adayı Muhammed Tahir’in hazırlamış olduğu beyanname özelinde dönemin seçim ortamı, sorunları ve adayların olaylara nasıl yaklaştığı değerlendirilmiştir.
Abstract
2nd constitutional elections (1908-912-1914-1919) represent a period in which important developments and accumulations were experienced in the history of Turkish democracy. The statements prepared by the candidates participating in the elections for propaganda purposes were contains important details reflecting the period. In the current study, the election environment of the period, the problems of the candidates and the approaches adopted by them towards the events were evaluated within the context of declaration prepared by the Serfice Sanjak deputy candidate Muhammed Tahir for the 1912 elections.
