Abstract
Three of the components of Industry 4.0 (Internet of Things-IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) are in the agenda of almost all industries. Among these three components, applications of the Internet of Things (IoT) are far ahead in the consideration due to low cost and easy application, to develop operational efficiency and the benefits for the generation of new equipment and systems. It seems that IoT implementation is the future as well as a revolution in the Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC) industry. Literature shows that IoT will replace BAS or BMS or will be used together to complete them. In this study, examples of the intersection of IoT technology with the HVAC systems are given, and a matrix developed especially for heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems to show the relationships and interactions between the IoT functions and the participants benefiting from IoT,
