ÇOK ALANLI SANAT EĞİTİMİ YÖNTEMİNİN ÇAĞDAŞ SANAT DERSİ ÖĞRETİMİNDE KULLANILMASININ KALICILIĞA ETKİSİ

THE EFFECT OF THE USE OF MULTIDISCIPLINARY ART EDUCATION METH- OD IN DELIVERING CONTEMPORARY ART LESSONS ON THE PERMANENCE OF KNOWLEDGE

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Resim-İş Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı lisans programlarında okutulan "Çağdaş Sanat" dersi öğretiminde, Çok Alanlı Sanat Eğitimi Yönteminin kullanılmasının bilginin kalıcılığına bir etkisi var mıdır?" sorusuna yanıt aramaktır. Çalışma, ön test - son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda araştırma, Gazi Üniversitesi, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi, Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü üçüncü sınıfta okuyan 20 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Bu öğrencilerin 10´u deney grubu, 10´u kontrol grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, çağdaş sanat dersi kapsamında Pop Art akımının özellikleri, sanatçı ve eserleri 1 hafta (3 ders saati) süresince; araştırmacı tarafından deney grubunda Çok Alanlı Sanat Eğitimi Yöntemi, kontrol grubunda ise yine araştırmacı tarafından düz anlatım yöntemi kullanılarak işlenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak uygulanan ön test ve son testlerin karşılaştırılması yapılarak sözü geçen öğretim yöntemlerinin bilginin kalıcılığına etkisinin farkı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract

This research aims to find an answer to the question of "Does the use of Multidisciplinary Art Education Method in delivering the "Contemporary Art" course in the undergraduate programs of the Departments of Art Teaching has any effect on the permanence of knowledge". The study was carried out by using a pretest-posttest control group experimental design. The research was made with 20 third-grade students from the Department of Fine Arts Education of the Faculty of Educa-tion of Gazi University. 10 of these students made up the experimental group while the other 10 were in the control group. For a period of 1 week (3 course hours) during theresearch, thetopic of "the characteristics, artists and works of Pop Art movement" was delivered by the researcher under the modern art coursethrough the use of Multidisciplinary Art Education Method fortheexperimental group and through direct instruction method for the control group. The pretests and posttests, which were used as data collection tools, were compared and theeffect of the mentioned educational methods on the permanence of knowledge were attempted to berevealed.
