Özet

Bu çalışmada; Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megatherium ve Proteus vulgaris'in pamuk, yün ve poliester kumaşların mukavemet ve renk özellikleri üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Adı geçen bakterilerin TSA (Tryptone Soya Ağar) besiyerinde steril kumaş numunelerine ekimleri yapılmış; 48 saat inkübasyon süresi sonunda mikroorganizmalar öldürülerek numunelerin renk ve mukavemet ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda; seçilen mikroorganizmaların pamuk, yün ye poliester kumaşlar üzerindeki etkileri ayrı ayrı değerlendirilmiş; bunun yanı sıra her bir materyal üzerindeki etkileri birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmıştır.

Abstract

In this research, the effects of Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megatherium and Proteus vulgaris on color and tensile strength of cotton, wool and polyester fabrics were investigated. The bacterium cultures were made on sterilized fabric samples in TSA (Tryptone Soya Agar) culture medium. After 48 hours incubation the microorganisms were killed by sterilization and, color and tensile strength measurements were realized. The effects of the microorganisms chosen for test on cotton, wool and polyester fabrics were evaluated separately in the light of resulted data. In addition, these effects on the textile materials were compared to each other.
