A statistical and experimental investigation of winding parameters effect on yarn physical structure and package build-up in polyester POY yarns

Özet

Eriyikten lif çekimine göre üretilen kimyasal lifler içerisinde en önemli yeri işgal eden polyester ipliklerinin zamanla üretim hızlarının artması, hem verimliliği hem de ürün kalitesini artırmıştır. Ancak hız artırımı, bir takım sarım hatalarının da artmasına neden olmaktadır. Bu nedenle, yapılan bu çalışmada yüzey sürtünmeli sarım sisteminde, sarım parametreleri üzerinde yapılan istatistiksel ve deneysel bir çalışma ile iplik fiziksel ve bobin sarım özelliklerinin optimum olması hedeflenmiştir. Bu amaçla Minitab İstatistiksel Paket Programı DOE (Design of Experiments) metodu uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca bu metod ile iplik üretiminin diğer basamaklarına da ışık tutması hedeflenmiştir.

Abstract

PES yarns, the most important synthetic fibres produced via melt spinning process, have achived higher spinning speeds in time which has improved both efficiency and product quality. But increases in spinning speeds will cause package winding problems. Therefore the goal of this work is to optimise the yarns' physical and package winding properties by implementing statistical and experimental studies on winding parameters at surface driven systems. To achieve this goal, the DOE (Design of Experiments) Minitab Software System method has been used. This method also aims to evaluate the other stages of yarn production.
