Özet

Bu çalışma, öznel zihinsel işyükü ölçüm yöntemlerinden NASA-TLX metodunun Ankara’da çeşitli kuruluşlarda görev yapan bilişim sektörü çalışanları üzerinde yapılan bir uygulamanın sonuçlarını içermektedir. NASA-TLX, zihinsel iş yükünün çalışana ve bilişsel kapasitesine uygunluğunu tespit etmek amacıyla test grubu üzerinde uygulanmak üzere en uygun ölçüm tekniği olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda eğitim, yaş gibi demografik faktörlerin bilişim sektörü çalışanlarının zihinsel iş yükü üzerinde etkili olabileceği sonucu elde edilmiştir.

Abstract

This study contains an application and foundings of NASA-TLX, a mental workload measurement technique, on the employees in the IT sector of various organizations settled in ANKARA. NASA-TLX was choosen as the most convenient measurement technique for the experiment group among a number of mental workload measurement techniques to find out the appropriateness of the mental workload to the staff, cognitive capacity and the used ratio of this capacity. The study shows a significant affinity between the mental workload and the demographic factors such as age and education level.
