Özet

Bu araştırma; stratejik yönetim sisteminin kriz yönetimi sürecine sağlayabileceği katkıları belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla teorik kısımda; kriz konusu, krizin bir belirsizlik durumu olduğu ve belirsizliği azaltmada stratejik yönetim sisteminin gerekliliği açıklanmıştır. Bu şekilde stratejik yönetim sisteminin önemi belirtilmiş ve kriz yönetimine katkısı vurgulanmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulama kısmında ise, stratejik yönetim sisteminin, kriz yönetimi sürecinin hangi aşamalarına katkı sağladığı araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada posta aracılığıyla anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, sayılar ve yüzdeler şeklinde tablolarda sunulmuş ve stratejik yönetim sisteminin, kriz yönetimi sürecinin hangi aşamalarında yöneticileri desteklediği t testi ile test edilmiştir. Sonuçlar; kriz yönetimi sürecinde, krizden kaçınma, krizi çözme ve krizden yarar sağlama aşamalarında stratejik yönetim sisteminin yöneticileri kısmen desteklediği, krizi saptama ve rakiplere kriz oluşturma aşamalarında ise desteklemediğini göstermektedir. Stratejik yönetim sisteminin, kriz yönetiminde beklenen faydayı oluşturması açısından, reaktif yapısının desteklenmesi ve proaktif bir yapıya kavuşması yararlı olacaktır.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the possible contributions of strategic management system to crisis management process. For this purpose, in the theoretical part, the definition of crisis, crisis' being an uncertainty situation and the necessity of strategic management system in reducing uncertainty are expressed. Thus, the importance of strategic management system is stated and its contribution to the crisis management is emphasized. In the empirical part of the study, to which stages of the crisis management process does strategic management system contribute has been researched. In the study, postal questionnaire method has been used. The data obtained have been presented in the charts as numbers and percentages and in which parts of the crisis management process does the strategic management system support the managers has been tested with t test. The results show that in the crisis management process, strategic management system partially support the managers in the stages of taking precautions against crisis, overcoming the crisis and making use of the crisis and doesn't support the managers in the understanding of the crisis and preparing a crisis for the competitors. Strategic management system's reactive structure's being supported and its reaching a proactive structure will be useful in terms of gaining the expected advantage.
