Yönetsel bilginin özellikleri üzerine bir araştırma

Özet

Bu araştırma; yönetsel bilginin özellikleri ile yörieticilerin düzey, meslek, eğitim ve deneyimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla, karar sürecinde kullanılan yönetsel bilginin sahip olduğu özellikler araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada yüz yüze anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, sayılar ve yüzdeler şeklinde tablolarda sunulmuş ve yöneticilere ait değişkenlerle, bilginin özellikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığı, ki-kare testi ile test edilmiştir. Sonuçlar; yöneticinin düzeyi ile eksiksiz, kısa, güvenilir ve güvenli bilgi sağlama; yöneticinin mesleği ile doğru, eksiksiz ve güncel bilgi sağlama arasındaki ilişkilerin anlamlı olduğunu; yöneticinin deneyimi ve eğitimi ile bilginin özellikleri arasındaki ilişkilerin anlamlı olmadığını göstermektedir. Araştırma kapsamındaki işletmelerde yöneticilerin amaca uygun, zamanlı ve doğru karar verebilmelerine katkı sağlamak için, bilgi kullanımının etkinleştirilmesi ve buna yönelik sistemlerin oluşturulması ile ilgili önlemlerin, üst düzey yöneticilerce alınması gereklidir.

Abstract

This research has aimed to determine the relations between the characteristics of managerial infonnation and the level, profession, education and experiences of the managers. For this purpose, the characteristics of managerial information used in the decision making process have been researched. In this research, face to face questionnaire method has been used. The data obtained and the knowledge gained are presented in the charts as numbers and percentages. Whether there is a meaningful relationship between the demographic features of the managers and the characteristics of information or not has been determined by using chi-square test. The results show that there is a a meaningful relation between the level of the managers and supply of complete, brief, confidential and reliable information; between the profession of the manager and supply of accurate, complete and updated information; but on the other hand, there is not a meaningful relation, between the experience and education of the manager and the characteristics of the information. In the businesses included in the research, in order to help the managers' aim-directed, time-considered, and accurate decision makings, precautions about the effectiveness of information usage and formation of systems directed to this should be taken by executive managers.
