Özet

Ebû Hâmid Muhammed Gazzâlînin küçük kardeşi olan Ahmed Gazzâlî tasavvuf tarihi içinde gerek nazarî gerekse uygulamaya ait tasavvufî mirasın anlaşılması ve aktarılması bakımından önemli bir isimdir. O, tanınmış büyük tarîkat silsilelerinde önemli bir halka, yazdığı eserlerle kendinden sonraki sûfîlere tesir eden mühim bir simâdır. Bu makalede; eserlerinden hareketle ve genel hatlarıyla hayatı, eserleri, tasavvufî görüşleri ve hakkındaki tartışmalara değinilmiştir.

Abstract

Ahmad al-Ghazzali the younger brother of Abu Hamid Muhammad al-Ghazzali is a prominent name in terms of both theory and practice regarding the understanding and transmission of the mystical heritage in the history of Sufism. He is an important ring in the chains (silsila) of the large and famous Sufi orders, and a significant person who has influenced the Sufis coming after him by his books. In this article his life in general, his works, mystical views, and the debates about him were discussed based on his works.
