Antalya İlinde turunçgil üretiminde tarımsal ilaç kullanımına yönelik üretici tutum ve davranışları

Özet
Antalya ilinde turunçgil üretiminde tarımsal ilaç kullanımı ile ilgili üretici tutum ve davranışlarının belirlendiği bu çalışmada 1999-2000 yılı tarımsal üretim dönemine ait veriler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler Finike, Kemer, Kumluca, Manavgat ve Serik ilçelerindeki 125 tarımsal işletmeden anket yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada, turunçgil üreticilerinin ilaçlama zamanı, ilaç seçimi ve ilaçlamada doz ayarlaması konularındaki bilgi kaynakları araştırılmış, ilaçlamanın çevreye ve insan sağlığına verdiği zarar konusundaki üretici görüşleri değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, üreticilerin büyük çoğunluğu (% 74,15) hastalık ve zararlılar görüldüğü zaman ilaçlama yapmaktadırlar. Üreticiler kullanacakları ilaç seçiminde genellikle kendi bilgi ve deneyimleri (% 49,7) ile ilaç bayilerinin önerilerine göre (% 42,78) hareket etmekledirler. Üreticilerin % 70,4 'ü tarımsal ilaçların ürünlerde kalıntı bıraktığına inanmaktadır. Ayrıca üreticilerin % 96,8'i aşırı ilaç kullanımının çevreyi olumsuz etkilediğini düşünürken % 20,19 'u da ilaç seçiminde sorunları olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine attitude and behaviours of farmers in relation to pesticide use in citrus production in Antalya province. The data used in the study collected from 125 farms located Finike, Kemer, Kumluca, Manavgat and Serik counties of Antalya province. The survey method was employed in the study and respondents were interviewed face to face in the production season 1999-2000. In the study, information sources of farmer's were explored in terms of application lime of pesticide, pesticide selection arid application amount of pesticide. Farmers ' views on the pesticide damages to environment and human health were also evaluated. The research results showed that the majority of farmers use the pesticide when they see pest and diseases on the crops. Farmers select the pesticides generally based on their own knowledge and experience (49.7 %), and they fallow the chemical agent's recommendations (42.78 %). About 70,4 % of the farmers reported that pesticide residues are present on the crops. 96.8 % of the farmers believe that excess use of pesticides creates risk of potential environment contamination and 20.19 % of the farmers express that they have some problems with respect to selecting correct pesticide.
