İzole edilen suşların % 100’ü seftriaksona, % 92’si seftazidime, % 91’i levofloksasine, % 85’i gentamisine, % 85’i trimetoprim-sulfametoksazole, % 81’i amikasine ve % 72’si imipeneme dirençli bulunmuştur.

Abstract

The distribution of 130 Acinetobacter baumannii strains isolated between February 2007 and May 2010 in our laboratory to clinical samples, to clinics that the samples were sent from, and the antibiotic susceptibility of the strains were reported. 30 % of the strains were isolated from sputum, 29 % from wounds, 25 % from blood and the remaining 16 % from various clinical samples. Identifications and antibiotic susceptibility were performed by VITEK 2 (bioMerieux, France) system. 100 % strains were found resistant to ceftriaxone, 92 % to ceftazidime, 91 % to levofloxacin, 85 % to gentamicin, 85 % to trimethoprim-sulfomethoxazole, 81 % to amikacin and 72 % to imipenem. As a result, although the resistance rate (72 %) is high, impenem was found to be the most effective antibiotic (28 %) for A.baumanni strains.
